Limited lifetimeExclusions & Limitations
Warranty coverage depends on the original repair and written terms. It does not apply to normal wear-and-tear or secondary road hazard interactions, such as:
- Road-wear chips, road hazards, or scratches
- Subsequent accident, structural damage, or hit-and-runs
- Environmental fallout, stone chips, or severe storms
- Chemical exposure, battery acid leaks, or abrasive washes
- Normal wear and tear or fading from age and sunlight exposure
- Unrelated vehicle mechanical or cosmetic defects
- Abuse, misuse, neglect, or off-road operation
- Labor to remove or reinstall warranted parts (OEM/aftermarket)
- Third-party repairs performed outside our Fort Myers shop
- Any damage occurring after the vehicle has left our facility

Is the warranty transferable?
No. Warranty coverage is non-transferable. It applies exclusively to the original repair customer for as long as they own the repaired vehicle.
What does the workmanship warranty cover?
It covers the quality of the structural and cosmetic workmanship performed by our shop for as long as you own the vehicle. Specifically, it guarantees that repairs comply with acceptable auto body restoration standards.
What does the paint warranty cover?
Paint warranty coverage applies to qualifying fading or peeling related to covered paint work performed by Mike's Auto Body & Paint Inc. It ensures the longevity of our refinish under normal operating conditions.
Are chips and scratches covered?
No. Road chips, scratches, stone damage, and other wear-and-tear or environmental damage occurring after the vehicle leaves our shop are excluded from warranty coverage.
Are parts covered?
Yes, parts carry limited warranties. Factory OEM parts carry a one-year limited warranty for the part only. Aftermarket parts carry a limited lifetime warranty for the part only.
Do I have to pay labor on warranty parts?
Yes. Labor to remove, replace, or reinstall a warranted part is the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing by Mike's Auto Body & Paint Inc.
How long does warranty coverage last?
Workmanship and aftermarket parts coverage last for as long as the original repair customer owns the vehicle. Factory OEM parts coverage is limited to one year.
How do I request a warranty review?
If you have a warranty concern, call our shop to schedule an inspection. You will need to bring the vehicle by so our estimators can review the repair, identify the source of the issue, and confirm coverage according to our terms.
